This is a short, casual reflection about the late Anis Alibhai. Without this one individual, the entire program experience would be different, as she was a guide to each of us. This short reflection follows the arc of all of us meeting, working together, finding out about her death, grieving alone, grieving together, and then into the future where we stay connected.

Editor's Note: Anis Alibhai (featured in this illustration) was a 2024 graduate of the Narrative Medicine Master’s program, and a deeply attuned psychotherapist and chaplain, and dear friend to many. She passed on September 16, 2024.
